Setting Up IP Addresses
The default factory setting for the IP address is
•
192.168.0.70 for the video processor frame
•
192.168.0.71 for the RAMRecorder
•
192.168.0.176 for Panel Processor PC
•
192.168.0.177 for Menu Processor PC
Setting IP Address at Panel and Mainframe
An IP address is a 32-bit number that uniquely identifies each device
sending or receiving information in packets across the network. It is used
that two devices can communicate with each other, as well as with other
devices connected to the same network.
The Kayenne XL / Kayak Installation Wizard can be used to change the IP
address of a Kayenne XL system.
From the CD Installer Welcome screen click on the Install new software button
(third from the top on the left as shown in Figure below.):
Note
If auto run is disabled on your CD Drive or the software is located on a USB
device, do a double click on the
Autorun.exe
file located in the
Autorun
directory to start the Software Installation Wizard.
