• On PVS, Verify the TServer is running (Check the TServer log).
• On K2, Verify the TServersvc is running (Check the K2 log).
• Hosts file wrong, Avid can’t connect to K2, Verify the network connection by
using ping. Ping using both host name and ip address. That is: ping gvmx-d54
and ping 192.165.100.20.
• Check the correct version was installed (workgroup versus interplay).
• Check sequence you are trying to send, mixed format are not supported.
PVS Media Manager
Description:
• Fails to connect to the PVS Client.
Workaround / Troubleshooting hint:
• Make sure the PVS port server is running.
• Verify the network connection by using ping. Ping using both host name and ip
address. That is: ping gvmx-d54 and ping 192.165.100.20.
