Chapter 10 Release notes
What’s new in this release
This version of K2-AvidTM software plug-in includes new features, in addition to
correcting some problems that were present in earlier releases.
• DV100 compression compression format are now supported. Requires Avid
Interplay 1.6.2 or higher.
• New “K2 Avid Explorer” drag and drop interface
• Send to Playback transfers are now closed down currently, preventing
erroneous error messages to be printed in the K2 log.
• Removed the Striped TC Setting.
• When overwriting assets TServer now waits until asset are deleted. The delay
can be changed in the registry.
Feature limitations in this release
• Drag and Drop of multiple assets is not supported in K2 Avid Explorer.
• Bit rate are not displayed correctly in K2 Avid Explorer.
