10. Reboot the Avid Transfer manager / Interplay engine device to complete the DHM
installation.
Verify K2AvidDHM is installed correctly
1. Start the License Manager and verify licenses are installed.
2. On the Avid Transfer manager / Interplay engine device, double-click the License
manager icon on the desktop.
• Do the following step if: you are upgrading from a previous version and a
permanent license was previously installed.
a. Verify this is still present. Otherwise add the license which was backed up in
previously and verify it’s still valid.
• Do the following step if: you do not have a permanent license.
a. Check if a temporary license was installed during the setup. If not, you can add
a temporary license which can be found in C:\Program Files\Thomson Grass
Valley\SabreTooth\TemporaryLicense.txt.
Note: You need a permanent license to operate beyond the 30 day trial period. Details
on how to obtain permanent license can be found under Obtaining and maintaining
licenses on page 38.
