Configuring the Avid Editor for Transfer
The following example uses the Avid NewsCutter.
1. Start the Avid NewsCutter and wait for the application to start.
2. Click the Edit menu, and then select Preferences...
3. Select Transfer under the settings list.
4. In the Send To Playback locate the Output Audio Mix and select Direct channel
output or Stereo output.
5. Click on the TMClient.ini tab and click Add.
6. Add the host name of the device which is running the Transfer manager /
Interplay Engine, in this example “HP18063315301”, and set the Workgroup to
“WORKGROUP”.
NOTE: The names must match the names used to configure the Avid Transfer
Manager / Interplay engine.
7. Restart the Editor.
Configuration of the editor is complete.
