a. On the device running the Avid transfer manager / Interplay engine, use the
Windows Add/Remove Programs control panel to uninstall the DHM.
4. Uninstall the Profile software from Avid transfer manager Interplay engine.
o Do not do the following step if there is no DHM installed.
o
Do the following step if you are upgrading from a previous release.
a. On the device running the Avid transfer manager / Interplay engine, use the
Windows Add/Remove Programs control panel to uninstall the ProfileXP
software.
5. Reboot the Avid transfer manager / Interplay engine device.
6. Uninstall the Grass Valley K2 Avid Ingest from the Avid Editor.
o Do not do the following step if there is no Ingest software installed.
o
Do the following step if you are upgrading from a previous release.
a. On the device running the Avid Editor, use the Windows Add/Remove
Programs control panel to uninstall the Ingest software.
7. Uninstall the Profile software from the Avid Editor.
o Do not do the following steps if there was no Ingest software installed or
the Profile software was removed as part of the DHM uninstall on a
standalone Avid transfer manager / Interplay engine / editor system.
o
Do the following steps if you are upgrading from a previous release and
this is an Editor connected to a shared Avid system.
a. Use the Windows Add/Remove Programs control panel to uninstall the
ProfileXP software.
b. Reboot the Avid Editor device.
8. Repeat step 6 and 7 for each editor installed with the Grass Valley K2 Avid Ingest
support software.
