Log Type
Required
Select log types. At present, nine types are available.
Saving Mode
Required
Select a mode to specify where to save the logs and how to deal with the original logs
saved in the SecCenter server after they are backed up.
There are five log saving modes:
•
save to local, and does not delete system logs
•
save to local and delete system logs
•
save to FTP server, and does not delete system logs
•
save to FTP server, and delete system logs
•
not save, and delete system logs
delete system logs means to delete the original logs saved in the SecCenter system after
they are backed up.
By default, save to local, and delete system logs is selected. If you select this mode, you
need to specify the IP address of the FTP server, the username and password for access,
and the path for saving the logs on the FTP server.
FTP Server IP
Required when save to FTP server is selected as the log saving mode.
Type the IP address of an FTP server.
Username
Required when save to FTP server is selected as the log saving mode.
Type the username for FTP access.
Password
Required when save to FTP server is selected as the log saving mode.
Type the password for FTP access.
Optional when save to FTP server is selected as the log saving mode.
Type the path where the backup files are to be saved.
The path must start with a slash (/), for example, /ftpdir.
Path
Required when save to local is selected as the log saving mode.
Type a path where the logs are to be saved on the SecCenter server.
The path must be in such format as c:\\program file.
Backup Time
Required
You can select the backup time. Available options include:
•
Do not back up
•
At 6:00 am everyday, back up the specified types of logs of the day before.
•
At 6:00 am every Monday, back up the specified types of logs of the last week.
•
At 6:00 am on the first day of every month, back up the specified type of logs of the
last month.
Importing backed up logs
This function allows you to import backed up logs to the SecCenter system.
