Attaching the plastic panel
The plastic panel covers air inlet vents and power module slots at the lower part of the front panel. H3C
recommends that you install and power on power modules and make sure the power modules are
operating correctly before installing the plastic panel.
To install the plastic panel:
1. Unpack the plastic panel, clips, and screws.
2. Secure the clips to both sides of the air inlet vents by using the screws supplied with the plastic
panel, as shown in
Figure 5 .
Skip this step if the clips have been installed to the switch.
3. Attach the plastic panel to the chassis with the positioning pins that align with holes in the chassis.
4. Push in the plastic panel until it clicks into place, as shown in Figure 7 .
