RJ-45 port LEDs
The LPUs provide RJ-45 port LEDs to indicate the link status and data receiving/transmitting status of the
RJ-45 ports.
Table 56 RJ-45 port LED description
LED status Description
Flashing The RJ-45 port is receiving or transmitting data.
Green
A link is present.
• Gigabit RJ-45 port—Operating at 1000 Mbps.
• 10-Gigabit RJ-45 port—Operating at 10 Gbps.
Yellow
A link is present.
• Gigabit RJ-45 port—Operating at 10/100 Mbps.
• 10-Gigabit RJ-45 port—Operating at 1 Gbps.
Off No link is present.
SFP port LEDs
The LPUs provide SFP port LEDs to indicate the link status and data receiving/transmitting status of the
SFP ports. Ports 1 to 44 on the LSX1GP48EB1 are SFP ports that support only SFP modules. Ports 45 to
48 on the LSX1GP48EB1 are SFP ports that support SFP modules, SFP+ modules, and SFP+ DAC cables.

Green
A link is present. An SFP module is connected to the SFP port and the SFP
port is operating at 1000 Mbps.
Amber (only for ports 45 to 48 on
the LSX1GP48EB1) A link is present. An SFP+ module or cable is connected to the SFP port
and the SFP port is operating at 10 Gbps.
Off No link is present.
SFP+ port LEDs
The LPUs provide one SFP+ port LED for each SFP+ port to indicate the link status and data
receiving/transmitting status of the SFP+ ports.

status of the QSFP+ ports.
