Accessory kit
Description
Cable management bracket
•
Used for routing network cables of LPUs.
•
Mounted to the chassis before shipment.
•
Location and appearance vary by switch models:
{
S12510-X AC and S12510-X DC—Independent cable management
bracket with white lines and located at the upper part of the front panel.
{
S12516-X AC and S12516-X DC—Each cable management bracket is
attached with a mounting bracket.
•
For more information about cable deployment, see "Appendix F Cabling
recommendations."
Power cord bracket
•
Available only for the S12510-X AC and S12516-X AC switches.
•
Used to secure power cords.
•
Located at the lower part of the rear panel. (See callout 2 in

•

Plastic panel
•
Install the plastic panel over the air inlet vents at the lower part of the front
panel to protect the power module slots and air inlet vents, as shown in
callout 3 on

Before installing the plastic panel, install power modules and connect
power cords first. For more information about how to install the plastic
panels, see "
Air filter (optional)
•
Used to prevent dust from entering the air inlet vent.
•
For the installation procedures, see S12510-X & S12510-F Air Filters User
Manual or S12516-X & S12516-F Air Filters User Manual.
•
An air filter is installed to the plastic panel and then to the chassis. If no air
filter is to be installed, attach the plastic panel to the chassis after installing
power modules and connecting power cords.
