Removing the twisted pair and optical fiber
You must remove twisted pairs and optical fibers from all the interfaces of the switch.
NOTE:
After pulling out an optical fiber from an optical transceiver module, cover the connector of the optical
fiber with a dust cap to keep the connector clean.
Repackaging the switch accessories
Repackaging the plastic panel and the air filter
Before you remove the power module, remove the plastic panel from the lower part of the front panel. If
an air filter is attached to the plastic panel, remove the air filter.
To repackage a plastic panel and an air filter:
1. Prepare the packing bags and boxes of the plastic panel and the air filter. Make sure the bags are
clean, dry, and not damaged.
2. Remove the plastic panel and the air filter from the lower part of the front panel.
For information about how to remove a plastic panel and an air filter, see "Replacement
procedures."
3. Put the removed plastic panel and air filter into their bags, respectively.
