Card LEDs

The MPU has the LEDs numbered the same as card slots to indicate the status of the active MPU, standby

MPU, LPUs, and switching fabric modules in the slots.

On each S12510-X AC/S12510-X DC switch:

LPU slot numbers are marked above the slots on the front panel.

MPU slot numbers and switching fabric module slot numbers are marked to the right of the slots

on the rear panel.

On each S12516-X AC/ S12516-X DC switch:

MPU and LPU slot numbers are marked to the right of the slots on the front panel.

Switching fabric module slot numbers are marked above the slots on the rear panel.

NOTE:

The ALM LED for an LPU lights for a period of time at the initial phase of the system startup.

MPU active/standby status LED

The MPU has one ACTIVE LED to indicate the active or standby status of the MPU.

LPUs of the S12500-X switches support RJ-45 ports, SFP ports, SFP+ ports, QSFP+ ports, CFP ports, and

CXP ports.
