Attach the lens focus tuner to the lens.
D3x Series
E3x Series

Adjust the focus based on the live view of the camera (see
View on page 42 to view the camera).
5.
After adjusting the focus, remove the focus lens tuner.
6.
Attach the front cover.
For D3x series, attach the front cover and the front cover ring.
CAUTION:
The front cover and front cover ring must be tightly closed to ensure water or dust
does not go through any opening.
