Installation Procedures Using the Heavy
Duty Bracket
In areas with fierce weather conditions and storms, it is recommended to use the heavy duty
bracket. The heavy duty bracket is an optional item and is sold separately. The steps in installing
the camera with the heavy duty bracket vary depending on the preferred waterproof cabling
solution. There are 3 ways to do the cabling:

Installation Using the Heavy Duty Bracket and Sealant Tape , see page 23.

Installation Using the Heavy Duty Bracket and Flex Conduit (Not applicable for
D3x Series), see page 27.

Installation Using the Bundled Bracket and Naked Cable (Not applicable for D3x
Series), see page 35.
