Tests Description
Perform Self Test The Self Test function (accessed by
pressing the CONFIG key) checks circuit
breaker and output relay functionality.
Perform SCAN Mode Review Operator should do a visual check for out
of range temperatures and low or high
heater and ground/earth leakage current
in the heat tracing circuit(s). No alarms
shall be present on any circuits in the
fourth line of the display screen.
Perform Simulated Ground / Earth Leak-
age Trip Exercise The TCM18 can simulate a high
ground/earth leakage (accessed by
pressing the CONFIG key) and manually
cause a trip to occur.
This allows the
operator to verify that the ground/earth
leakage function is operable.
