How to Install the SDI Optional Module
The VSP 9516S can be modified to install or remove optional boards that
change the input and/or output formats that the processor can process. We
will introduce ― How to Install the SDI Optional Module‖ in the following parts,
specific steps are as follows:
1. Take Apart the VSP 9516S
2. Install the SDI Optional Module
3. Assemble the VSP 9516S
Part 1: Take Apart the VSP 9516S
Specific steps are as follows:
1. Disconnect the AC power cord from the VSP 9516S to remove power
from the unit.
Warning: To prevent electric shock, always unplug the VSP 9516S from
the AC power source before opening the enclosure.
2. Disconnect all signal and control cables.
3. Remove the 7 screws on the top cover (Figure 1).
