Subsystem. Contains commands
to define the Counter function.
:STATe 0/1 or OFF/ON
Enables/Disables the counter
function.

:CLear Clears the active counter.
:COUNt?
Reports the clock pulses output
except, in single shot mode, in
this case the trigger pulses input

Cycle counter. Sets the number of
system cycles to repeat when in
duty cycle mode. Setting to zero
disables any cycle counts.
:EXTPeriod External trigger period.

Enables/Disables the counter

Sets auto update mode. Auto will
continually update the value,
over-writing the previous value.

Reports the number of clock
counts between input pulses.

Returns the period value taking
into consideration the number of
averaging counts and system
resolution. Value is in seconds.

Reports if actively counting
period. State will be zero if not
actively counting the period.
