11. Appendix C – Plus Option
Overview
The Plus option adds additional features and functions to the standard unit. The majority
of the Plus features are a field upgradable option. The Plus option adds the following
features:
 Delay and width resolution/accuracy improved to 5ns.
 Rate resolution/accuracy improved to 5ns.
 Increased rate to 20Mhz.
 Additional system output mode for duty cycle number of cycle counts.
 Additional virtual channels.
 System/Pulse counter.
 External trigger period counter.
 Additional trigger input burst mode.
 Additional trigger input duty cycle mode.
 Synchronous Updating.
 External trigger rate of 20MHz.
 External trigger Re-Arm function.
Plus additional options
At the time of purchase, the Plus can be ordered with an optional 1ppm oscillator. This
option is a factory installed option and cannot be upgraded in the field as the options listed
above.
Upgrading to a 9200 Plus
If a field update has been chosen to upgrade the 9200 to the 9200 Plus, carry out the following
for configuration:

2) Upon contacting sales, an encrypted code will be then be given.
3) Ensure the 9200 plugged in and running on the computer in which the 9200 application
may be run.
4) Run the 9200 application and click on Tools  Option Code.
5) Paste the previously obtained encrypted code and click OK
6) A message should display outlining that the upgrade was successful a nd the application
will restart.

Upon restarting, the “Plus Options” will now be accessible. Reference the following,
“9200 Plus Application Overview” for more information regarding the added features .
