This document is intended to walk an end-user through the procedure to replace the
SPROM programming IC in your Quantum Composers Pulse Generator. Only someone
familiar with handling of electronic equipment should perform the following procedure.
Please adhere to all safety precautions outlined in this document!

Disconnect any other instruments
connected to the Pulse Generator. This ensures the
protection of the extraneous instruments, the end-
user, and the Pulse Generator from damage caused
by inadvertent short circuits, etc.

Remove the front and rear bezels by pulling
away from the side of the Pulse Generator and
twisting the side of the bezel out.

Remove the top screws from the front & rear
panels.

Disconnect the power cord. The power
supply inside the Pulse Generator has exposed
surfaces that have live grid voltage when the unit is
plugged in. Electrical shock could occur if the unit
is not disconnected from the power source. You
must disconnect the power cord.
