Saving fault and service histories to a USB memory stick

The fault and service histories of the Nortec ME Control can be saved to a USB memory stick for journ-

aling and further analysis.

To save the fault and service histories to a USB memory stick, proceed as follows:
1. Disconnect power supply to control unit by switching off electrical isolator in the mains supply line.

Secure electrical isolator against inadvertent power-up.

2. Unlock retaining screw of front cover of control unit, then remove front cover.
3. Open control unit inner door.
4. Connect USB memory stick (max. length 75 mm/3") to the USB port of the control board.
5. Close control unit inner door.
6. Relocate front cover on control unit and lock it with the retaining screw.
7. Switch on power supply to control unit.
8. Select “Export History” function in the “Service” submenu. The data are saved as excel spreadsheet

on the USB memory stick.

9. When the data have been saved repeat steps 1 to 5 to remove USB memory stick.

Check/seal water tank, water piping

and hydraulic module.

Water flow to media too high.

Check duty and software is correct.

Evaporative cassettes have become

blocked with minerals.

Check set up, replace evaporative

cassettes, perform system service.

Uneven or non laminar air flow.

Check design conditions of AHU.

Install perforated plate on the air

supply side.

Air on temperature is too low.

Check design conditions of AHU. and

increase temperature.

Humidity/cooling demand

present however the Nortec ME

Control does not humidify.

Shut-off valve in the water supply

line closed.

Open shut-off valve.

Site control are not correct.

Prove controls and control module.
