Programming

Preset Two-Tone Digits

This allows up to three 2-tone paging digits to be preset and controls the number of digits the operator
must enter. If two preset digits are entered, the operator is only allowed to enter the third digit. The
valid range for each digit is 0-9.

A Tone Duration

This parameter allows the duration of the first tone of the two-tone sequence to be set. The valid range is
0.5 sec

to 4.5 sec in 0.5 sec increments.

: This parameter affects alias paging as well.

B Tone Duration

This parameter allows duration of the second tone of the two-tone sequence to be set. The valid range is
0.5 sec

to 4.5 sec in 0.5 sec increments.

8-second Group Timer

Enable/Disable

for the 8-second group call enable parameter. Enabling generates a single 8-second

tone frequency when a group call is made.

TALK NOW Timer for Two-Tone Paging

Allows selection of the length of time a user is allowed to talk after the paging signal. If the

TRANSMIT

button is pressed during TALK NOW time, the unit continues to transmit until the button is released.
The range is 0 to 45 seconds. If 0 seconds is selected, the operator is not allowed to talk after the page.

Plectron Paging

Preset Plectron Digits

Allows you to preset up to four Plectron paging digits to be preset and controls the number of digits the
user must enter. If two preset digits are entered, the user is only allowed to enter the third and fourth
digits. Valid range for the capcode is 0000-3599. Please refer to the Plectron Code Plan Chart and the
Plectron Tone Group/Frequency Chart that follows for code plan specifics.
