GPS INPUT | EXTERNAL ANTENNA Connector, Type SMA
The ‘GPS INPUT | EXTERNAL ANTENNA’ interface is a 50Ω Type SMA female
connector. The internal GPS receiver used in the MCED‐100 is a U‐Blox LEA‐6H
GPS module, and the recommended external active antenna is a Panasonic VIC‐
100.
The internal GPS receiver provides short circuit detection, and has the following active antenna
requirements:

The ‘GPS INPUT | RS232 INPUT’ interface is a 9‐pin Type ‘D’ male (DB‐9M)
connector. It is intended for serial connection to an external GPS receiver
unit. Refer to Table 3‐2 for pinouts.
