MCED-100 Connector Overview
The rear panel connectors for the MCED‐100 MetaCarrier Embedding Device (Figure 3‐1)
provide all necessary external connections between the unit and other equipment. Table 3‐1
summarizes the connectors provided on the rear panel interface, grouped according to service
function.

The European EMC Directive (EN55022, EN50082‐1) requires using properly shielded
cables for DATA I/O. These cables must be double‐shielded from end‐to‐end,
ensuring a continuous ground shield.
