2.6 Blade Installation and Removal
The blade is fully compatible to the AdvancedTCA standard and is designed to be used in
AdvancedTCA shelves.
SW2-4 User flash #2 write-protection. See User Flashes on page 69 and Memory
Map on page 95 for further details.
OFF: User flash #2 write-enabled (default)
ON: User flash #2 write-protected
SW3-1 Boot flash selection. See Boot Flashes on page 69 and Memory Map on
page 95 for further details.
OFF: IPMI selects boot flash (default)
ON: Switch SW3-2 determines boot flash
SW3-2 Determines boot flash (only if switch SW3-1 is set to ON). See Boot
Flashes on page 69 for further details.
OFF: Blade boots from boot flash #1 (default)
ON: Blade boots from boot flash #2
SW3-3 Watchdog timer enabling. This switch allows to enable/disable the
watchdog inside the FPGA. See

details.
OFF: Watchdog enabled (default)
ON: Watchdog disabled
