FIELD
DESCRIPTION
Model Name
Identifies the model of the SBM1000 adapter that you are
currently logged on to:
SBM1100 or SBM1400
Scan Mode
Advanced users may want to modify the MoCA channel of
operation selection process. Two available modes:
• Scan – Enables automated channel scanning
• Single – Enables a specific channel
Channel
Configures the MoCA channel of operation based on the
selected Scan mode.
• Scan mode – Allows automatic detection of a MoCA
operational channel in one of the following bands of
operation:
D-band: Typically used for customers with cable or
telco video services.
E-band: Typically used for customers with satellite
video services
D+E band (default): Automatically detects the
appropriate MoCA operational channel based on if
your home network is a cable, telco, or satellite
service provider-based network.
• Single mode – Allows you to select any channel of
operation from the available channels in the MoCA E-Band
and D-band range.
Beacon Power Level
Configures a specific MoCA Beacon power level for the coax
network interface. Default level: 10
It is highly recommended that you do not modify the default
MoCA Beacon power level of 10 unless your service provider
has identified a need to lower the Beacon power for improved
performance of other coax network devices.
Note
: If you reduce the MoCA Beacon power level, it is highly
recommended that you do not set it lower than 7.
Save button
Saves any changes you made to the adapter configuration.
After saving your changes, you must reboot the adapter to
update the adapter configuration.
Cancel button
Cancels any changes you made to the adapter configuration.
Reboot button
Reboots the SBM1000 adapter.
Restores Defaults
button
Restores the system back to the factory default values.
Deletes any changes or updates you made to the adapter
configuration including your passwords.
