• Drive Carrier(s) - Accommodate up to sixteen (16) 3.5" low-profile Serial ATA
devices. Backplane design eliminates cable connections to drives, increases data
integrity, and supports drive hot swappability.
Corresponding drive bay numbers (1-16) are shown in Figure 2.
• Drive Carrier LED(s) - Provides the following information:
Drive Ready - Indicates that the drive is properly installed and ready for
(Blue) access.
Drive Activity - Indicates that the drive is being accessed.
(Amber)
• Chassis Handle(s) - Provide a sturdy grip for the installation and removal of the
rack-mount chassis.
