MODEL R
The Model R catalytic stove blower is an OPTION that must be purchased through an authorized Country Flame Dealer.
The Model R comes designed to accept the blower system and is simple to mount; however, again, a qualified electrician
should install the electrical connection. FIGURE 23 shows the electrical schematic of the Model R blower system.
NOTE: The Model R has 600 cubic feet per minute (CFM) blower system that utilizes a multi speed blower motor. The
motor has been wired for single speed operation. If the homeowner so chooses, an electrician can provide an optional 3-
speed switch that allows for varying the speed of the blower. Otherwise, the blue and red leads coming from the motor
should be capped and secured properly in the blower housing.
BLOWER CARE: At least once a season (light use) and every six months (heavy use) the electric motor and fan blade
should be removed and cleaned. The blade can be washed or wiped clean. The motor should be lubricated annually with
an approved electric motor lubricant. Lubricate with 10 to 20 drops of Anderol Number 465 high temperature synthetic
lubricant. DO NOT USE petroleum-based oil, as premature bearing failure will result
