if size and appearance are acceptable, buttonholes may be repeated on finished garment
as follows:

♦ Une up buttonhole position marks on gar*
ment with marks on foot as before.
♦ Press button (1) and start sewing. The
machine v/iil stop automatically upon
completion of the buttonhole.
♦ Should it be desired to perform otfier stit
ching functions, the user may do so
without disturbing the buttonhole in
memory. The programmed buttonhole
may be reselected at a later time by
pushing button (1). The symbol (bh) will
Indicate that there Is a program in the
memory.
Note: If stitch length and balance v/ere
used to program the buttonhole, they
must be reset to same position when
buttonhole is reselected after having
performed other stitching functions
which required different stitch length or
balance setting. Relatively little move
ment of either of these controls v/ill
cause enough stitch length change to
produce different length buttonholes
and/or failure to close properly.
The programmed buttonhole will remain
stored in the memoiy as long as the power
remains on or until the user wishes to erase
it by usif^g the buttonhole “CLR” button.
♦ The function only works if machine
Is in the buttonhole mode of operation.
