Guiding Fabric
Most fabrics need only to be guided
m
front
of the presser foot. Some fabrics, however,
require support while being stitched.
« For tricot and other similar synttietic knits,
apply gentle tension by holding fabric
tight in front and back of presser foot dur*
ing sewing. DO NOT pull fabric or needle
may break!
♦ For elasticized fabric, stretch lace, and
knits with an unusual amount of elastic!'

Pin basting and tiand basting are easy

to make temporary seams before machine
sewing. This machine also allows quick and

♦ Insert pins at stitching line, NEVER place
pins 01^ the underside of fabric in contact
with the feed. DO NOT sew over pins;
remove them immediately before stit
ching.
