Patterns are stored in the machine along with a pre programmed stitch width and
length. Use of pattern as stored will produce an acceptable stitch under most
sewing conditions. However, there may be circumstances when modifications
might be advantageous. The fine tuning controls allov/ these changes.
Fine Tuning Patterns

Control
♦ To change the programmed stitch width,
press button (2) over the stitch width con
trol. A red indicator (1) will liglit when but
ton is pushed.
♦ Move slide control (3) to the right to in
crease width or to the left to decrease
width. This may be done while pattern is
being sewn.
♦ To return to programmed width, push but
ton (2) again. The red indicator (1) will go
out when this is accomplished.
stitch Length Control
To change programmed stitch length,
press button {5) over length control. A red
indicator
(A)
will light when button is
pushed.
Move slide control (6) to the right to irv
crease length or to the left to decrease
length. This may be done while pattern Is
being sewn.
To return to programmed length, push
button (6) again. The red Indicator (4) will
go out when this is accomplished.
