About the XM READY mark

The XM READY mark printed on the front
panel indicates that the Pioneer XM tuner
(sold separately) can be controlled by this unit.
Please inquire to your dealer or nearest
authorized Pioneer service station regarding
the XM tuner that can be connected to this
unit. ForXM tuner operation, please refer to
the XM tuner owner’s manual.

Resetting the microprocessor
The microprocessor must be reset under the
following conditions:
• Prior to using this unit for the first time
after installation
• If the unit fails to operate properly
• When strange or incorrect messages ap
pear on the display

Press RESET on the head unit with a
pen tip or other pointed instrument.

Display indication
This unit is equipped two types of display indi
cations such as LCD display and OEL display.
This manual mainly explains using OEL dis
play.
• LCD display contains basic information
about the each source and other settings
which is visible whenever the front panel is
opened or closed.
