Introduction of XM operation Switching the XM display
• Press DISPLAY to switch the XM display.
Each press of DISPLAY changes the XM dis­
play in the following order;
Channel name—Artist name/feature—Song/
program title—Channel category
You can use this unit with a separateiy soid uni-
versaiXM sateiiite digitai tuner system (GEX-
FM913XM) orXM sateiiite digitai tuner (GEX-
P910XM).
For details concerning operation, refer to the
XM tuner’s operation manuals. This section
provides information on XM operations with
this unit which differs from that desoribed in
the XM tuner’s operation manual.
® XM channel select setting indicator
Shows what ohannel select setting has
been selected. CH.No is displayed when
CH NUMBER is selected, and CAT is dis­
played when CATEGORY is selected.
d) XM channel number indicator
Shows to which XM channel numberthe
tuner is tuned.
@ XM preset number indicator
Shows what XM preset has been selected.
® XM band indicator
Shows the XM band which has been se­
lected.
Swiching the XM channel select
setting
You can switch if you select a channel with a
channel number or from a ohannel category
when you select a channel.
• Press CLOCK and hold to select the de­
sired channel select setting.
Press CLOCK and hold repeatedly to switch
between the following channel select settings:
CH NUMBER (channel number select mode)
—CATEGORY (ohannel category select
mode)®
