Click Close to exit test mode.
8 Save the script file and exit Definer.
Testing a Configuration
So far, testing of the Recognition definition and script files has been limited to a few
documents in the Definer Free-form Processing window’s test mode. The next stage
is to run a test in the Recognition Test Tool, where statistics can automatically be
generated to show processing performance. Typically this tool would be used for
testing on a large number of images.
X To test a configuration in the Recognition Test Tool
1 Open the Recognition Test Tool by clicking Start on the taskbar to display the
menu, and selecting All Programs | INDICIUS | Tools | Recognition Test
Tool.

Select File | New Project… to open the New Project window.
3 Click the button on the Definition Files panel and select the following
definition file:
<Installation Path>\config\MySolicitorsLetters.idf.
4 Click the button on the Recognition Script File panel and select the
following script file:
<Installation Path>\config\MySolicitorsLetters.ifv.

Click OK.

Click the button at the top of the Document List to open the Select
Documents window.

Select the nine images in the following folder:
<Installation Path>\examples\Solicitors Letters\images\.
8 Click Open.
9 Click Run Test to process all the documents using the Recognition
configuration.
