avalin.nodemgr.port
Used to set the port for the administration server NodeManager service. The default value is
5556.
avalin.cluster.1.multicast.ip
Used to set the IP multicast address used by the Kofax Document Exchange Server WebLogic
Cluster domain. The default value is 238.0.100.100.
avalin.managed.server.proxyserver.ssl.port
Used to set the SSL listen port for the proxy server. The default value is 8443.
avalin.managed.server.1.multicastinterfaceaddress
Used to specify which IP address will be used to broadcast or listen to the cluster multicast
traffic in multi-homed managed servers. For example, you may have a server that has two
network cards and IP addresses to LAN1 and LAN2 separately. If each managed server has
one IP address only, leave this property blank; otherwise, set the value it to the IP address that
listens to the cluster multicast traffic. If not set properly, the proxy server would drop some
managed servers intermittently in run time.
avalin.cluster.1.multicast.port

avalin.machine.#.nodemgr.port
Used to set the port for the managed server NodeManager service. The default value is 5556.
avalin.managed.server.#.port
Used to set the listen port for the managed server. The default value is 8080.
avalin.managed.server.#.ssl.port
Used to set the SSL listen port for the managed server. The default value is 8443.
avalin.managed.server.#.channel1.listen.port
Used to set an additional port on which managed servers listen. The default value is 80.
avalin.machine.proxyserver.nodemgr.port
Used to set the port for the proxy server NodeManager service. The default value is 5556.
avalin.managed.servers.vmargs
Used to pass arguments to the Java Virtual Machine when starting the managed servers.
avalin.admin.servers.vmargs
Used to pass arguments to the Java Virtual Machine when starting the administration server.
avalin.proxy.servers.vmargs
Used to pass arguments to the Java Virtual Machine when starting the proxy server.
Running the Installation Scripts
The installation scripts will create the cluster and set up the database. As you follow the
instructions, pay attention to which machine you are performing the steps on. Also, be sure to
wait for each step to be completed (result=Build Successful) before moving to the next step.
