Sensor head part names
*1 The analog indicator lights up when the analog output is within the range and turns off
when the output is out of range.
"5. Analog output scaling (Bank A/B)" (page 6)
*2 The reference distance indicator lights up when the measurement distance is
IA-
030:30
± 0.25 mm, IA-065:65 ± 0.5 mm, IA-100:100 ± 1 mm
.
Connecting the sensor head
1
Unlock the sensor head
connector and insert it into
back of the amplifier.
2
Turn the round part of the
connector clockwise until a
clicking sound is heard to lock
it.
Mounting the sensor head
Attach the sensor head using the dedicated mounting bracket. If you do not use the
dedicated mounting bracket, be sure to place the supplied insulating sheet between
the mounting surface and the sensor head as shown below. (The insulating sheet is
not required when the dedicated bracket is use.)

Main screen
The main screen can be switched between "Current value display" and "Peak/bottom
value display". The main screen can be switched even during keylock.
Pressing the [Up] and [Down] arrow buttons simultaneously on the Current value
display screen forces the current value to 0.
Connecting and Mounting the Sensor Head
When shortening the sensor head cable, follow the instructions
given in the "Sensor Head Connector Assembly Manual" included
with the sensor head.
For the IA Series, the optical axis may vary by approximately
±2.0°.
