Stereo Link LED

Adjacent pairs of channels on Pro64 input modules can be linked together as

a stereo pair. The channels must be an odd‑even pair, such as 1‑2, 7‑8, etc.

Each pair of channels that are linked on an input module will light the

matching channel Link LEDs on all 6416o Output Modules in the network.

A pair of channels is indicated as being a stereo source. The left and right

sides are shown as active in this example.

The left/right sides of the stereo pairs do not need to be activated together

on a Pro64 output module. Each side can be muted or unmuted as needed.

Output Level Switches

Each line‑level output channel on the 6416o has a two‑position level switch

that can be used to best match the analog signal level of the 6416o to the

gear that it is connected to. The default setting is Line. The Mic setting adds

a ‑40dB pad to the output, making the 6416o output level compatible with

mic preamp or other sensitive inputs.

The 6416o v.2 has four‑position output level switches; match the analog signal

level of the 6416o v.2 to the input sensitivity of the gear that it is connected

to by selecting the one of the three line‑level outputs (+4dBu, +18dBu, or

+24dBu) or use the Mic setting when connecting to mic preamp inputs.

The level switches on both versions of the 6416o are in the analog domain

and are not locked out from being changed when either the Edit Lock or

Password protection features are used.
