If you need to call the Hitachi Data Systems Support Center, make sure to provide as much
information about the problem as possible, including:

The 9900 Remote Console configuration information saved on diskette using the FDCOPY
function (see the Hitachi Lightning 9900™ Remote Console User’s Guide),
„
The circumstances surrounding the error or failure,
„
The exact content of any error messages displayed on the host system(s),
„
The error code(s) displayed on the Remote Console PC, and
„
The remote service information messages (R-SIMs) logged on the Remote Console PC and
the reference codes and severity levels of the recent R-SIMs.
