4. Begin Programming
You can now add new notes to the
selected rhythm accompaniment by
playing the percussion pads ® and
the appropriate timing (select the
desired instrument group using the
variation buttons), tf you want to
create a totally new rhythm, press the
CUSTOM DRUMMER CLEAR button
@ before beginning to program. This
cancels all the instruments in the
original accompaniment, leaving only
a closed hi-hat metronome sound
(the metronome sound will not be
heard when you play back your
rhythm. The rhythm pattern is two
measures long, and the pattern will
continue to repeat so you can add
new instruments during each repeat,
if necessary.

5. If You Want to Cancel A Single
Instrument
Although you can cancel all
instruments in a pattern by pressing
the CUSTOM DRUMMER CLEAR
button ®, it is also possible to
cancel a single instrument to
eradicate a mistake or simply
eliminate an unwanted instrument.
