CBW-1 and CBW-4 Metric Wrenches

CBW-1 (8 and 10 mm) and CBW-4 (9 and 11 mm)

Metric Wrenches are used on adjusting nuts,

locknuts, and anchor bolts on many types of

brakes, derailleurs, and accessories.

HT-8 8mm Hex Tool

The HT-8 is used on pedals that require an 8mm

hex wrench for removal and installation. It also

is used for removal and installation of 8mm

socket head crank bolts.

CWP-7 Compact Crank Puller

The CWP-7 is a compact crank puller that can

be used to remove most square taper cranks, as

well as splined Octalink® and ISIS Drive cranks.

Instructions:

1. Remove crank bolt and washer using proper

wrench.

2. Two rotating tips are included with the

CWP-7, one on each end of the driver. 

When removing square-hole cranks, install

11.3mm tip onto threaded end of driver. 

When removing splined-hole cranks, install

16.3mm tip onto threaded end of driver. 

These tips are easy to remove and install

- simply pull tip to remove and press firmly

onto driver to install.

3. Thread nut completely onto driver.  Insert

driver into hole of crank until rotating tip

contacts bottom bracket spindle.

4. Thread nut into crank and tighten until

snug (use a wrench if necessary).  Note: 

Crank threads may be damaged if nut is not

completely threaded into crank.

5. Turn driver clockwise with 15mm wrench

or adjustable wrench until resistance is

felt. Continue turning handle until crank is

removed.

BBT-22 and BBT-9 Bottom Bracket Tools

Park Tool Bottom Bracket Tools are used to

install and remove bottom bracket cups. The

BBT-22 fits Shimano Octalink and ISIS Drive

20-tooth, splined bottom bracket cups. The BBT-

9 fits 16-notch external bearing bottom bracket

cups from Shimano, SRAM, FSA, Campagnolo,

Race Face, and others. It also engages the 8

internal splines of the crank arm adjustment cap

used on Shimano Hollowtech II systems.

PW-3 Pedal Wrench

A pedal wrench is necessary for removing and

installing pedals for replacement, service, or

packing a bike for shipment. The PW-3 Pedal

Wrench is thin enough to fit the wrench flats of

any pedal and has a long, comfortable handle for

leverage.

Instructions:

Pedal Removal:

1. Shift chain to largest chainring. This

helps protect hands and arms from sharp

chainring teeth.

2. Place PW-3 on right pedal. Holding left

crank for leverage, turn PW-3 counter-

clockwise until pedal is removed.

3. Place PW-3 on left pedal. Holding right

crank for leverage, turn PW-3 clockwise

until pedal is removed.

Pedal Installation:

1. Apply grease to threads of both pedals.

2. Thread right pedal (marked “R”) clockwise

into right crank by hand. Tighten with PW-

3.

3. Thread left pedal (marked “L”) counter-

clockwise into left crank by hand. Tighten

with PW-3.

PPL-1 PolyLube 1000

Polylube 1000 is a high performance

polyurea grease specially formulated

for use with headsets, hubs,

bottom brackets, and other bicycle

components. PPL-1 reduces bearing

drag, protects parts, resists water,

and inhibits rust and corrosion.

CNW-2 Chainring Nut Wrench

The CNW-2 makes chainring bolt set installation

and removal easy. It securely holds the slotted

nut to prevent spinning when tightening or

loosening the bolt. Double-ended to fit most

slotted-type nuts.

Instructions:

Bottom Bracket Cup Removal:

1.

Fit bottom bracket tool into non-drive

side cup and turn counterclockwise with

wrench until removed.

2. Fit bottom bracket tool into drive side

cup and turn clockwise with wrench

(counterclockwise for Italian threaded

cup) until removed.

Bottom Bracket Cup Installation:

1. Fit bottom bracket tool into drive side cup

and turn counterclockwise with wrench until

tight (clockwise for Italian threaded cup).

2.

Fit bottom bracket tool into non-drive

side cup and turn clockwise with wrench

until tight.

CN-10 Cable and Housing Cutter

The CN-10 Cable and Housing Cutter is a shop

quality cutter designed specifically for use on

bicycle cables and housing. Includes a built-in

crimper for both cable end caps and housing

ferrules.

Adjustment Instructions:

1.

As the CN-10 wears it may require

readjustment for best cutting results:

2. Turn nut counterclockwise to loosen. To

tighten adjustment, turn bolt clockwise. To

loosen, turn counterclockwise.

3. Turn nut clockwise to tighten.
Repeat as needed until tool cuts cleanly and

handles operate smoothly.
