pages is the waypoint definition page. This page
lets you create new waypoints manually, as well as
review and edit existing waypoints.

To create a new waypoint manually, you’ll need
to know its position coordinates or its distance and
bearing from an existing waypoint. If you know
the position coordinates for your new waypoint:
1. Press the ▼ key to highlight the nam e field.
2. Press m to begin entry of the w aypoint nam e.
3. Use the - a , and' t ' keys to enter your w aypoint
nam e, using the
i
and
y
keys to m ove to the
next character position.
4. Press to confirm the w aypoint nam e. The
position field w ill now becom e highlighted, w ith
the receiver's last knovm position show n.
5. Press to begin entry of the position.
6. U se the ▲ and ▼ keys to enter your position,
using the ^ and ^ keys to m ove to each
character field.
7. Press the key to confirm and save your
coordinates. The default w aypoint com m ent
(U TC date and tim e of creation} w ill appear and
the highlight w ill m ove to the 'done' field.
8. Press the key to return to the M enu Page.
