Store previously recorded measurements
The recorder can contain measurements from previously recorded tests. You can choose to
save those measurements to the database before deleting them from the recorder.
How the measurements are saved depends on the patient for which the measurements
were recorded.
If the measurements belong to...
Then you can...
The current patient
Read back the measurements and save them to
the patient's test in progress.
Another patient
Assign the measurements to a test in progress for
that patient.
An unknown patient
Create a new patient and assign the
measurements to the new test for that patient.
To read back the measurements and save them to the patient's previous test:
1. If you try to record a test for a patient who already has a test in progress, the following
message is displayed:
2. Click Yes. The measurements are read from the ABP recorder and saved to the
patient's previous test.
Note: if you click No, you cannot start a new test for the current patient, because a
patient can only have one test in progress.
To assign the measurements to a test of another patient:
1. If you want to record a test for the current patient, but the ABP recorder still contains
measurements of another patient, the following message is displayed:
