Tech Mode Commands
A,channel,loop
Read A/D channel.
Channel can be 0 for the keyboard A/D input or 1 for the battery voltage A/D input. The loop
argument sets how many samples are made and displayed. If the loop argument is set to 0, the XG3
will measure and display continuously until another ‘;’ is received. Note: during this command
keyboard entry and operation of the unit will be suspended. Frequency output will not be affected.

Display CS2100 chip ID and revision number.
Retrieves the CS2100 (frequency synthesizer chip) identification number and revision and displays
them both. Chip ID: 00 = CS2100, The revision number is currently 06.

Perform LED test.
Turns on all LEDs and then waits for any serial key to be received. Note: during this command
keyboard entry and operation of the unit will be suspended. Frequency output will not be affected.
With all LEDs on, the XG3 will consume significantly more current, operation in this mode should be
kept to a minimum while on battery power.
