 Semicolons are synonymous with CR except that they are echoed.
 Using the ‘;’ command as means of handshaking is highly recommended. An extra ‘;’ can be sent

with each command. The host then waits for the echo of the second ‘;’ which signals that the
previous command has been executed.

Command Reference

B[,+/-offset]

Set/display the current calibration factor.
Send:

B,-587;

Sets the current calibration factor to -587

XG3: nothing
Send: B;
XG3: B,-587;
Sets/views the current calibration factor. The calibration factor will ‘adjust’ the 10 MHz reference
oscillator. Valid range is +/- 32767. Each time this command executes it will automatically recompute
and re-output the current frequency.

C[,location#]

Call memory.

Send: C,01;

XG3: nothing

Send: C;

XG3: C,01;
Recalls the passed frequency memory location. The output frequency will change and the associated
location LED will be illuminated. Valid locations are 00 - 11, as there are currently 12
bands/memories in the XG3. If no location is given, the current active band location is displayed.

F[,frequency]

Set/display the current frequency.

Send: F,00014025000;

XG3: nothing

Send: F;

XG3: F,00014025000;
Sets the current output frequency or views the frequency currently being generated. This command
does not affect the stored memory locations. If a frequency lower than the minimum supported
frequency (1.50 MHz) is entered, the XG3 will use the minimum supported frequency of 1.50 MHz. If
a frequency greater than 1400 MHz is entered, the XG3 will use the maximum supported frequency of
1400 MHz.
