Installing the Batteries and Checking the Battery Level

Installing the Batteries

The camera uses two lithium CR123A (or DL123A) batteries.

Open the battery chamber cover.

• Slide cover release lever as shown

by the arrow and open the battery

chamber cover.

Insert the batteries.

• Make sure the battery contacts (+

and -) are oriented as shown on the
battery chamber cover.

• Do not mix old and new batteries.

Close the battery chamber cover.

• Press the cover until it snaps shut.

Q For places where CR123A batteries may not be easily available, take spare

batteries with you. Also carry spare batteries for extended shooting sessions.
