(3) Off-Camera Shoe Adapter

Attaches to the flash unit’s directly coupled con

tact, and is connected to the TTL Hot Shoe

Adapter by means of Connecting Cord 60 or
300. This item contains a tripod socket.

(4) TTL Distributor

Used when the flash units are positioned away

from the camera and when three or four units

are used simultaneously for multiple flash

photography.

Multiple Flash Photography

Disabled Features

Certain features are disabled when using the 430EZ

off-camera.
(1) ATTL Mode (TTL autoflash is used)

(2) Preflash
(3) Second-Curtain Synch
(4) The EOS “DEPTH” Mode cannot be used.

(5) EOS-1, 620630’s Program Shift does not

function.

(6) The 430EZ’s Internal Zoom (can be set

manually)

(7) 430EZ’s aperture value and coupling range are

not displayed.

(8) AF Auxiliary light is not projected.
