Creating a simulated surround effect
(Q SURROUND)

Even when only two speakers are used at the left and right, Q

SURROUND makes the sounds rich and wide as if you are

surrounded by two front speakers and two rear speakers.

Mark function

Playback can restart from a memorized point.

You can memorize the points on up to 5 DVD discs and on up to
total of 10 audio CDs and video CDs. Up to 5 points can be

memorized to each disc.

Q SURROUND

Q Press Q SURROUND.

To return to normal playback.

Press Q SURROUND again.

Playing a video CD or an audio CD in

random order

All the tracks on a video CD or an audio CD can be played randomly.

PRQM

program

repeatedly so that

“RANDOM” lights up on the display.

To return to normal playback.

Press PROGRAM repeatedly so that “RANDOM” goes off from

the display.

I Press MARK during playback.

Mark entry display appears.

Press ENTER.

A point is memorized.

To memorize other points, press ^

to move the cursor (the yellow-colored

area). Then press ENTER.

Press MARK to clear the Mark entry display.

To restart play from the memorized point

1 Press MARK so that p appears on the TV screen and the unit

enters the mark mode.

2 Press ► or numbered buttons 1 - 5 to seiect a point.
3 Press ►PLAY to start play.

When the TV is not turned on, you can not confirm if the unit is

in the mark mode.

To ciear a memorized point

1 Press MARK so that p appears on the TV screen and the unit

enters the mark mode.

2 Press -4, ► or numbered buttons 1- 5 to select a point.
3 Press C. The selected point is cleared.

When the 6th DVD disc or the 11th audio CD or video CD is

inserted, the data of oldest disc is deleted and the new disc data
is added even when new point is not memorized.
