5. installing a wireless
receiver
Wireless receivers can be used to trigger the flash units. Some
units will havs a strap for hanging them on the hardware or in
some cases they can slide onto the provided shoe mounts.

Follow the steps detailed in above umbrella assembly direc-
tions step 1 in reverse and remove the upper and lower
umbrella shafts and set aside. You will not need them.
1. installing Male & female
brass softbox mounting studs
One end of the T plate has a ¼” hole in it, insert the small
threaded male end of the male stud through the hole. [Fig 10]
Screw the female tapped corresponding end of the female
brass stud to the male threads of the male stud & tighten
securely. Pliers may be required to tighten securely. [Fig 11 ]
