Opening the Umbrella
The Umbrella opens like common
rain umbrella. Figures 1 – 5
1. Pull open the Velcro ® strap that holds
the umbrella closed.

3. Push the slider up the post and the umbrella will open.
4. The umbrella will lock in place when the metal slider is
pushed over the metal locking tab on the post.
5. This image shows the umbrella set up on a LiteStand with a
ShoeMount MultiClamp.
Securing the Umbrella to your Light
NOTE: Set up your light stand and light head in the manner
suggested by your equipments’ manufacturers.
Most light heads, head mounting clamps, and LiteStand mounts
will have a receptacle and locking mechanism for securing the
umbrella in front of the light. Figures 6 – 8

9. Remove the umbrella from the MultiClamp or light. Hold
the lower end of the post with one hand.
10. With the other hand, push the metal locking tab into the
post until the metal collar is free.
Shoot Through Umbrella
The White Satin Shoot Through Umbrella features a premium
quality white satin 190 thread count fabric for buttery soft shoot
