different LED. Is:
If MF is OFF and CA is ON or flashing,
communication to devices is OK.
Has target device
communicated before
on the network?
No
At the device, check:
- communication rate setting
- device address setting
- zone address setting
They must match MCC.
Check wiring.
Yes
SPI module is not receiving
from a device. Look up
8000 series error codes
in CDS word 3.

FAULT
= Flashing
Yes
Check device:
- wiring for disconnect
- that it is turned ON
- configuration in CCB, again
Do you observe?
MODULE
FAULT
= Flashing
or ON
No
Communication is OK.
Replace target device.
SPI module is
configured if:
MODULE
ACTIVE
= ON
Yes
If data returned from a device is zero,
check device configuration in CCB.
