Connect Power to the Module
To apply power to the 1791P module, refer to the illustration below.
Remove the Terminal Block
Follow the directions below to remove the CompactBlock terminal block.
1. Unscrew the two retaining screws on the side of the terminal block.
WARNING
When you connect or disconnect the Removable
Terminal Block (RTB) with field side power applied,
an electrical arc can occur. This could cause an
explosion in hazardous location installations.
Be sure that power is removed or the area is
nonhazardous before proceeding.
